The single most significant accomplishment of the Cunningham PRIDE Committee has been the development and beautification of city parks. The PRIDE organization has a vision and has been the driving force behind many, many projects over the years, but the fruits of our labor, spanning many years, are crystal clear when gazing upon our city parks.

The half mile lighted walking path that encircles the main city park had promoted the healthy habit of exercise. Also, the park area is graced with many amenities (playground equipment, sand volleyball pit, swimming pool, baseball field, football field, and shelter houses) and is decorate with a wide variety of well-groomed trees to serve as a meeting place frequented daily by people of all ages. Many a traveler succumbs to the allure of the manicured parks to pause briefly before pressing on.

Certainly the park area is a source of pride among the residents of this community!
